Wohlstandsphänomen?

Klingt doch von der Richtung her gar nicht soooo viel anders als bei uns, höchstens noch extremer.

Ich kopiere als Ergänzung mal einen Textauszug aus einer Leserzuschrift zu japanischen Frauen aus dem geschlossenen Bereich der NoMarriage.com-Schwesterseite SingleAbroad rein - hoffe mal, der ist kurz genug, um nicht ernsthaft gegen Copyrights zu verstoßen:

"In the big cities you are far more likely to come across a certain type which is not good for marriage - they are avoiding marriage not because they have "careers" or because marriage is "oppressive" (although Western reporters often try to spin it this way), but because they are living in a suspended state of no responsibilities where all their income is disposable.

They are working low-stress dead-end jobs and blowing all their money on partying, fashion, etc. Most of them live with their parents and some in small apartments. Marriage would mean that this extended adolescence would come to an end. They would get taken care of financially by the man, but they would be expected to take on the responsibilities of the household. The thing is, the vast majority of them aren't career women and want a man to take care of them. They just don't want their responsibility-free life to end. Some of them are looking for a fantasy man who will take care of them without expecting to be taken care of in the home in return"

Das lässt Aussagen von KlausZ&Co. hier im Forum bzgl. "Frauenmangel" etc. in einem etwas anderen Licht erscheinen. Ferner ist Japan nach allem, was ich weiß (zugegebenermaßen nicht sehr viel), kein wirklich emanzenverseuchtes Land, der Feminismus hat dort nie wirklich Fuß fassen können.

Das legt eigentlich den Schluss nahe, dass derartige Probleme nicht vorrangig durch "Frauenmangel" oder feministische Verseuchung verursacht werden, sondern eher ein allgemeines Wohlstandsphänomen darstellen (zumindest, wenn der Wohlstand mit einer halbwegs liberalen Gesellschaft gekoppelt ist).
